Live Simply.

I read this on an email.

But sometimes the most simple sayings can hold such profound truth.

Think about and try...

Looking Out, Looking In

Someone extolled love as "pointing beyond yourself." I have also heard, "love points beyond itself."

Love looks out. We look in.

Self points to itself. Love spotlights the other.

Where are your eyes? Looking out or looking in?

If you're looking in, just look in enough to "straighten out the stuff" to be able to love others better.

If you do, you'll be better on the inside too!

Love Reorganizes

I read somewhere where love "reorganizes your life."

As I mentioned this, everyone thought it rang true.

Love will change your life. Love will reorganize your priorities.

Love will make everything different.

Let love reorganize what needs to change.

Isaiah 40:1, "Comfort, yes, comfort My people!" says your God.

Comfort those around you today.

Bring comfort to those you love.

Comfort is a wonderful thing. Make it a part of your life and those around you in your life.

God's City or man's? People or Gold?

Have you ever heard the quip:

"In God's City, the inhabitants love people and walk on gold;

while in man's city, the inhabitants love gold and walk on people."

It's a good thing to consider. Which do you love? Sometimes, we get confused.

Or sometimes, it's hard to tell.

God given gifts for us

Second Timothy 1:7 tells us God has given us...

~sound mind

Call on them today. Use them today, for His glory.
