What Defines Your Life?

Second John (verse 6) gives us a definition of love: "This is love - that we walk according to His commandments." In other words that we obey, that we do what He says, what He wants.

James 1:27 gives us a definition of what "religion" is: That we care for widows and orphans in their distress and keep ourselves from being polluted by the world. First Samuel (15:22) tells us to obey is better than sacrifice. It pleases God more. Proverbs 21:3 says, "To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice."
